A note about your presentation topic and style: As a domestic abuse victim-survivor and protective parent, and as advocate for other victim-survivors and protective parents, it’s my duty to ensure that consideration is given to the fact that most of the community members attending these events have experienced significant trauma, and are actively fighting for the safety of their children and themselves in a very broken family court system. It's important they can trust that these events are a safe environment with the opportunity to receive high-impact support, without feeling pressured to buy or sign up for something. They have experienced significant betrayal trauma and financial abuse from their ex-partners, and are likely also experiencing betrayal by a system that claims to protect children and survivors, while regularly placing them in harm's way and enabling the abuse they continue to endure.

If you focus your presentation on providing value and ensuring attendees walk away from this event with practical takeaways they can implement right away, they are more likely to feel a sense of trust, are more likely to want to work with you, and more likely to refer you to others. If it feels like a sales pitch they will likely lose trust in your expertise.

This is absolutely an opportunity for you to gain exposure for your business (and I am confident that your business will experience growth in return for your generosity!) but primarily I hope you'll see it as an opportunity to give back to a community of abuse survivors who need all the help they can get to protect their children and themselves, heal their trauma, and rebuild their life after divorce.

Thank you for so generously donating your time and your expertise to this amazing community! I appreciate you.
