Topic:
Protecting Children from the Hidden Emotional Impacts of Divorce
Divorce brings emotional, legal, and logistical challenges that ripple through every part of a family, and children often carry impacts that aren't always visible to the adults navigating the process.
In this conversation, Kerry Stutzman, MSW, LMFT, and Palmer Skudneski, MS, MFTC, co-founders of Care for the Kids, explore how parental conflict, emotional disconnection, loyalty binds, co-parenting patterns, and the absence of a shared family vision can affect children in ways parents may not immediately recognize.
Drawing on their clinical training, professional work with families, and their own lived experience with high-conflict divorce, Kerry and Palmer offer practical, compassionate guidance for reducing inadvertent harm, staying emotionally connected to your children, and making choices that protect their long-term well-being.
Join us for an hour of grounded, real-world insight, no matter where you are in your journey. This conversation is for both parents and professionals working in the divorce field. The event is free to attend, share it with someone who needs this healing information.
